Location Selection

This is where things get really fun! Now is the time that you get to look at all of the beautiful locations in Sedona and decide where you'd like to have your photos taken. If you'd like to see photos from the location listed below, just click on the accompanying title photos to view the photo gallery.

If you'd like to see videos from each location, video links from our sister company, Sedona Wedding Films, are in the description.

All locations listed do not need a permit nor do they require an additional fee (except that MGR requires a jeep rental unless you have a high clearance 4x4).

If you'd like to view more locations that require an additional permit and fee, just let me know and I'll send you more!

Baby Bell - VOC area

sedona-elopement-photographer.jpg

This has to be my favorite place to photograph in all of Sedona. Baby Bell has several remarkable locations to photograph from and 360-degree views of the iconic surrounding buttes such as Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock. The hike is an easy-moderate ~1 mile out-and-back.

Munds Wagon - Uptown area

The ease of this location does not take from the incredible views. A very short and easy ~0.5 mile out-and-back hike will get take you to a secluded area with fantastic viewpoints. This is a great location if you want the shortest hike possible with the biggest payoff. Great option for anyone with low mobility.

Merry-Go-Round Rock - Off-roading Adventure

Stephanie-and-Nathan-Wedding-432.jpg

Merry-Go-Round Rock is incredible and iconic for a reason! A high clearance 4x4 (Jeep Rental - additional cost) is required for this epic adventure- it's a 45 minute one-way drive up a jeep trail and a short walk to some of the most amazing views Sedona has to offer. We encourage this location for elopements or couples sessions only.

Cathedral Rock - VOC area

Cathedral-Rock-Top-Down.jpg

Cathedral Rock is one Sedona hike that you can't skip! Due to the elevation gain and rugged terrain on this trail, it's not a location chosen by many, as the hike is moderate/difficult. This is my favorite spot for sunrise sessions.

Secret Slick Rock - West Sedona

Sedona Elopement Photographer.jpg

This is one of the most popular places to have photos taken in Sedona! It's a favorite location of a lot of couples and photographers alike, mostly due to it being an easy ~.75 mile out-and-back hike with the most incredible view of Cathedral Rock.

Airport Mesa - West Sedona

Airport Mesa is a popular location for sunset watchers and one for couples alike! While you'll have a hard time finding parking and likely won't find much seclusion, the views are versatile and stunning, making it a popular choice for couples photos!
